Dancehall artiste Skillibeng, who has been described by many as a rising star, on Wednesday hit the studio with We The Best producer DJ Khaled.
In several Instagram posts on Wednesday, Khaled, who has been very open about his love for dancehall music and Jamaica, treated the ‘Crocodile Teeth’ artiste to lunch before hitting the studio.
Among the mostly Jamaican fare were escovitch fish, patty, jerked chicken, oxtail, and curried goat, with DJ Khaled’s chef sharing that they wanted to give the ‘Whap Whap’ artiste a taste of home.
Having released his five-track EP ‘Mr Universe’ earlier this month, very little was revealed in the Instagram posts about the St Thomas native’s studio session with the American record producer. However, DJ Khaled did say in his captions that he is in album mode.
For one of the clips shared by DJ Khaled, Skilli is seen in front of a microphone. There is no audio for the video clip, but DJ Khaled captioned it: “SKILLI GOING CRAZY IN HERE ! ??? ????????
